Thanks for stopping by and spending a moment to read my blog. I am just a simple mom, like you, doing the best she can to raise her children to be happy, healthy, Jesus-loving little humans. Rough Chop Crockpot Applesauce

Save time and energy by throwing in quartered apples - skins on with seeds and stem still intact! The result is the same delicious applesauce you love without all the work up front.

Rough Chop Crockpot Applesauce
4-5 lbs apples (about 15)
1/2 cup water
2-3 Tbsp lemon juice
1/4 cup cinnamon sugar (optional)

Place quartered apples (seeds, stems & skin intact) into your crockpot. Top with water, lemon juice and cinnamon sugar. Cook on high for 3-4 hours or on low for 6-8 hours. Puree using a food mill leaving most of the water in the crockpot. Discard seeds, skins and stems. Makes 2 qts of applesauce.
